- Instructional Materials EDUC213 Geografy and
Hsitory (BU). This course deals with practical experiences
in locating, adapting, and constructing inexpensive materials to
use in the classroom (in the Geografy and Hsitory instruction)
to increase the skills and the comprehension and retention of
cognitive information. Attention is given to the efficient and
effective use of audiovisual materials.
- Psyc. Found/ Teach&Learning EDUC131 (BU). This
course takes the form of a general introductory survey,
presenting the fundamental concepts in psychology with greater
emphasis on mental functions and personality. It also deals with
essentials in developmental theories.
- Educational Pychology EDUC202 (BU). The course
includes the application of the behaviorist, gestalt, and
humanist theories of the cognitive and affective factors in the
teaching-learning process and their applications to classroom
management, active learning, motivation, creativity, and
discipline.

- EDUCAZIONE ALLA PACE. Istituto Tecnico Agrario di
Firenze/Italy. Il coro ha trattato i seguenti argomenti:
Informazione e Pace: squilibri economici e ingiustizia globale,
Dialogo fra le religioni: fondamentalismo, laicismo, diritti
umani nelle religioni. Organizzazioni internazionali: ruolo e
limiti. Un approccio cristiano: magistero della Chiesa e Pace.
Il servizio agli altri come scelta di relazioni di pace. Stili
di vita e rispetto delle risorse: la pace tutti i giorni. Una
cittadinanza responsabile per costruire una societą nonviolenta.
- Youth Counseling and Giudance (UIC). This course aims
to introduce the student to general counseling principles and to
give an overview of the different counseling techniques.
Emphasis is placed upon the development of appropriate
counseling skills for therapists.

Gli obiettivi di questo corso riguardano
prevalentemente una conoscenza generale degli strumenti
didattici, com’elementi di un processo formativo. In particolare
conoscenze: sulle loro possibilitą pedagogico-didattiche nei
processi d’insegnamento-apprendimento; sui problemi che essi
possono far nascere per le speranze e attese che creano con il
loro arrivo e che poi non sempre possono essere soddisfatte;
sulla necessitą di nuova
formazione richiesta in chi direttamente o indirettamente si
trova a lavorare nel mondo formativo, sulle nuove esigenze che
dovrebbero avere le strutture e l'organizzazione didattica in
generale per un loro uso in modo non episodico.
